Stage 2: Main supervisor nominates panels for the proposal presentation. The form for panel nomination can be found under Download Tab. Please submit it to nurainy@uthm.edu.my (PhD Coordinator) and zeety@uthm.edu.my (Master by Research Coordinator). Stage 3: Student should submit the proposal report to nurainy@uthm.edu.my (PhD Coordinator) and zeety@uthm.edu.my (Master by Research Coordinator). The report should consist of three (3) copies that have been endorsed by the Supervisor. The front page for the proposal report can be found under the Download Tab. Stage 4: The coordinator will arrange the date, time and venue for the presentation schedule, and then notify the panels, supervisors and students through an official letter and email. Stage 5: The proposal presentation will be conducted. Stage 6: The panels will provide scores and comments based on the evaluation of the proposal presentation and the assessment of the proposal report to the committee. Stage 7: Notification of results. Stage 2: Students who are unable to present their progress may apply for a deferment presentation. Student can download the form here. Stage 3: Student should submit the progress report to nurainy@uthm.edu.my (PhD Coordinator) and zeety@uthm.edu.my (Master by Research Coordinator). The report should consist of three (3) copies that have been endorsed by the Supervisor. The front page for the proogress report can be found under the Download Tab. Stage 2: Pre-viva assessment is conducted by the Panel of Assessors. (click here to see the evaluation form) Stage 3: The form should be handed back to committee and the committee will give to student for correction. Stage 4: Student is responsible for making the required amendments / corrections to the thesis after discussing them with the supervisor. Stage 5: The final thesis draft is endorsed by the supervisor. (click here to see the evaluation form) Stage 6: After completing all pre-viva corrections and obtaining approval from the supervisor, students can apply for the viva voce examination. Students must ensure that all the viva voce application checklist items are adhered to. The viva voce examination checklist can be referred as below.
